Genoa C.F.C. wins the Memorial Cafasso reserved for 2008’s junior team

The little “Grifoni”, won last Sunday, the fourth edition of the Canavese Cup, writing their name in the roll of gold after the three victories of Juventus. After the elimination phase closed with a full score, the red/blue boys entered the triangular final with Juventus and Sampdoria. They are 1-0 over Juventus in their first match of the final round and in the second and decisive match in the Derby della Lanterna they get the better of Sampdoria 3-0, winning the tournament, in their first participation. The ranking is completed by Sampdoria followed by Juventus in second and third place respectively, followed by Torino F.C., the two French teams of EFC Beaucaire and A.S. Lac Bleu, Seregno Calcio, GSD Concorezzese, C.A. Peymeinade from the Côte d’Azur, the Agliè Valle Sacra, in front of the Treviso del Vazzola and the Swiss F.C. Crissier.
